So I usually take a trip somewhere for my birthday being single and all to get my mind of another year gone by. However, this year due to finances, a European trip is not on the cards unfortunately. I've been to Scotland before and I liked it. Any UK regional suggestions? Wales seems like it might be of interest. I guess I could also be open to travel and meet a FAB lady or couple while I'm away if the offer is there. Any suggestions of places to go? |

"Cornwall is beautiful. Gorgeous beaches, a magnificent coastline to walk, the Moors for hiking or mountain biking. Great food and local beers. "
Unfortunately it also rain every day there between September and April. |

I did a couple trips to Venice last Jan each cost under £100. Beautiful in winter, misty, atmospheric, very few tourists got sine great night & pre sunrise photos the aqua-alta.
Cheap flight, bus transfers, hostel, co-op deli , walk everywhere , 4 nights for £100 inc flights cheaper than uk. Lisbon is good too |

Awww have a great time. I stayed just by Rialto Bridge on the edge of San Marco, good location walked the whole island, Venice is surprisingly small & compact , did a couple of cheap day trips to Murano / Burano through Viator. |
