This is for everyone who looks at male profiles. I've pulled all my pics save for a few basic ones as I have literally no idea anymore of what people actually want to see. Love to hear everyones perspective on what makes good profile pics. And what you want to see as first impressions. |

I probably have more pics than the average male profile but I've never once given any thought to what others might want to see.
I post pics that I want and that I create with very little prep or planning. I've never spent more than 5 minutes on any pic and that includes editing.
I've found that while some women won't like my pics, those who do will do so because they recognise that I've made a little effort and I'm posting for me rather than for fabs because I get very few of those.
I've never taken a pic down because someone doesn't like it either. It's my profile and I'll post what I want. |

I have a number of photos on my profile. Each one in happy with and add to the profile that represents me.
Not every photo will do it for everyone and not everyone will tell you which photo actually does.
OP choose the photos that represent you the best and you are happy with. |

Variety. Some smart clothed pics, some fun pics, some top off, a couple that show your cock so I know if it's one I want to meet and a face pic.
What I don't want to see are trophy pics of you hanging out of someone, 27 teaser pics each showing a small part of your body, as it's not a guess the person quiz. Nor do I want to see 27 cock shots.
Also, pics that give an idea of you as a person. If you've got 27 pics of you in a gym, I'll just think I wonder if we met how long it would take for him to mention the gym...

I personally like a decent amount of profile text as it gives an impression of their personality and what they're looking for. I like your partial face pic as it gives an impression of what you look like while perhaps protecting privacy a little. I feel you could benefit from pictures showing more of your body. That can be clothed or tasteful particularly clothed/nude. I think it can be helpful for men to look at other men's profiles to find other men who they think take good photos for inspiration. Some of the threads about men's photos or pics of certain themes can be a good place to look. |

I'm guilty of having perhaps too many on my public gallery but try to not have too many samey ones.
A mix of undressed and dressed pics usually works well. Some people like to see it all, but I keep that to friends gallery. Most people, appreciate pictures tastefully taken with some aesthetic sense.
As mentioned before however, tastes can vary greatly. |

Torso and arms and hand pics really do it for me
Mixture of clothed and naked/half naked also good
Single male profiles which predominantly feature pics of women (without text in profile stating consent has been given to share the pics) are the biggest turn off for me

Thank you, that is very good advice, much appreciated. |

The guys on this thread are some great examples OP. However they feel individually about taking pics, what comes across is enjoying the composition of them. Reality Bites and Marc on this thread (as examples) are full of inspiration on how to photograph interesting and provocative perspectives.
Basically, instead of seeing pics as a necessity that needs to be box ticked, have some fun with the process. |
