After some bad experience, I would never spend a penny before i meet someone again. It’s not about the money, but felt stupid to trust someone before you meet them and then they don’t show up.
I bought viagra, booked hotel, before meet, and on 2 occasions they didn’t show up.
What’s your experience? |

I was having a conversation with this man once. He was lovely, funny over messaging. I said I was reading a book in a series and he expressed an interest in starting the same series. We were meeting that weekend but the next day I wandered into a charity shop, saw the first book in the series on the shelf and bought it for £1.99. We met up that weekend, had one of the worst social meets ever. But as we were saying goodbye I pulled out the book from my handbag, gave it to him and said I hope he likes the book as much as I did. |
