Whether you're going out or staying in, whether you're off to a naughty meet or simply celebrating with family and friends, what are you wearing this NYE? |

I have a lindy bop dress with cats on, a pink cardigan, pink baseball boots that I drew cats on, a cat earrings and necklace set, a cat ring and a cat brooch to go on my pink coat... I think that's everything... Oohh and a handbag that looks like a cat paw... I like a theme! |

"a white sheet with a horses skull adorned with dry flowers and ribbons of red & green. it's part of an old welsh new years tradition called Mari Lwyd which is still practiced in our village."
I have seen this from Welsh friends and I still don't understand it. |

it's basically a poetry battle between the mari lwyders (the outsiders) and the occupants of the house (the insiders). the verses of the poem are started by the outsiders and follow a strict welsh meter which is sung. basically the outsiders call on the insiders to feed them and give them drink or to give good reason why they should not be allowed to enter. the insiders respond and back & forth the battle goes until the insiders relent. when inside things get out of hand quickly, with the grey mare chasing women and children, nipping at them with sharp teeth. the rest of the group gorge themselves in the larder and the cellar. then onto the next house taking the insiders with them as part of an ever growing group of d*unken revellers, until the whole village arrives at the tafarn, at which point the landlord is subject to their demands of hospitality. |

Close To The Edge, Down Bi The River |
A red thermal vest thing, pair 80 den black tights and two pairs of socks.
Tights partly for the perv, mostly as they are the most comfortable and warm thing I’ve worn on my legs, ever. |
