Old threads puzzle me. They are not my nemesis. But what makes someone find posts that are weeks, months , years old?
How do you come across them unless you actually search for them ?
Half the people on them have left
Why not just start a new thread ? |

Perhaps people think of a thread and see if there's already one. Then, instead of duplicating it, they add to it-like we were constantly being told to do by people who don't like multiple threads of the same ilk. |

I just went back to the earliest threads (jan 2009) and see that there are only nine there, none of which have many comments on - it might be fun to resurrect them and get them to the 175 mark! |

Because everyone gets their old threads in second hand stores.
They might be a little frayed but plenty of wear left in them.
If you pull an old thread it will unravel and get everywhere... |

"Who knows... Maybe in a few years time this could be resurrected 👀
It wasn't years... But it happened "
We'll keep an eye on it...every few weeks it will be resurrected, until it becomes years old |

Let’s for example say I’m looking for something connected to beer. I type in beer to the search and up come loads of old threads. Some I’d reply to which then resurrects them. |
