"Is it me or is seasonally affected disorder really bad this year...proper flat today "
Definitely not alone OP. I'm in the trenches at the moment too. I spotted some snowdrops poking out of the flowerbeds today though and that gave me the smallest twinge of hope.
Maybe supplement your Vit D for a couple of weeks? |

It's worth a shot - I tend to supplement mine during the winter months especially.
Make sure you're opening curtains (and windows when appropriate) to separate your days/night light levels. I know it's sometimes tempting to just keep them shut.
Also 1 thing I'm really focussing on at the moment is making sure I 'move my body, with intention - for 30+ mins every day'. This could be a walk to the shop, instead of driving. Or an online Yoga workout in your lounge. I've stuck to it for 22 days so far and it's giving me a little challenge to focus on. |

I've had it for 20 years. (Mr)
A sad light helps. Grab as much natural daylight as possible 9 to 5 here .
Keep busy .
If you are really low A trip to the doctors may help
Hope this helps
Good news February soon the worst is over and spring is on its way. |

"Cheers guys..I work outdoors mostly so I get plenty of natural light...just ordered some Vits"
I've taken Vit D this year and it's the first winter I've had without an illness/bug/cold/flu for as far back as I can remember.

"What with that, hormones, hot flushes and having to make some really hard decisions about my senior dog I’m not as chipper as I usually am "
I hear you about the dog. I had to have mine put down 6 months ago - never easy.....in fact - heartbreaking |

Get some marmite down you, every morning on toast. Packed with B vitamins which help the nervous system etc. People say it's horrible etc...it's not once you get used to it.
Take along with your vitamin D. |

How coincidental...I've been feeling a little lack lustre the past week...and it was only yesterday I realised it could be SAD...it totally slipped my mind.
Sending everyone positive, vibrant vibes!
Good news is, we get an extra 2mins of sunlight per day here forth |

It’s a horrible decision to make and watching my to youngest kids break their heart because they know he won’t be here much longer is soul destroying |
