My first gut reaction is that she's just not the right fit for the programme.
I'll reserve judgement until she's a few weeks in........ truth is I haven't watched for years. Allison annoys me more than I can say. |

I will watch I was dubious about Prue Leith (surely nobody could have replaced Queen Mary Berry and her brand if motherly kindness) but enjoyed watching her, I was dubious about Alison Hammond but found myself warming to her.
I really hope we don't get weekly threads describing what men want to do to Nigella Lawson. That would get really tiresome |

I have a cracking story about Nigella Lawson and the death of her first husband, which paints her in a jaw-droppingly callus light. The problem is that it'd betray close confidences and be easily traceable to its source.
And for those wondering, it's not a case of Chinese-whispers, as I heard it from a friend who was the person involved.
For the sake of my journalistic past, I'll toss in the word "allegedly", just to be safe.

I’m wondering what the dynamic is going to be like with Paul… I think it’s a potentially fun pairing, guessing that the production team will keep the lid on the innuendo, at least initially but they’re chasing diminishing viewing figures so might want to adjust the vibe. She’s a good choice imo, she’ll be recognised by the ‘older’ viewers and no doubt there’s going to be quite a few husbands that will take an interest now but she will still appeal to a younger audience…
