Puerto de Megan is a beautiful little place. I found it to be devoid of tourists, especially British ones thankfully.
There is a Lovely long hike up the road towards the reservoir. It will take a few hours but the views are spectacular. Once you reach the reservoir, you’ll find the public toilets ever, plus a wonderful outside area with BBQs available for public use. And just a little further on the road is a fresh fruit seller by a farm.
I will always remember my day there, partly for the views and partly because I nearly died on the way back.
Hope you have fun, and by nice to the locals. |
