Without being in an intimate/sexual setting. Calling a woman a good girl is indeed a bit weird.

I dislike most pet names from people I don't know well. They're often presumptuous, infantilising, and overly intimate.
Good girl assumes I'm a subordinate looking for someone's approval. It's not my favourite at the best of times, but from a stranger it particularly makes my skin crawl. |
