latest news about The Gatehouse club, is that it's up for auction on April 15th. The price? A nice £350,000. I wonder where the next Gatehouse club will be. As they say, watch this space.

Bury - Manchester

Do you mean the building that they left or the pub they've moved to?

The New Gatehouse events are running through the summer, so I assume that the sale is for their previous site. Their website is up and running

The local press state it’s the new venue (an old pub) that’s up for sale on Rightmove. However I’ve checked the website and can’t find it listed.

I liked the previous venue it had good parking, away from residential areas and wasn’t really known by the locals. This new venue has had issues, which is a shame. I suppose we’ll just have to see but I do wish the owners well and wouldn’t blame them for moving on.

Can I put things straight as the rumour mill seems to be going..

Gh events are tenants of the building and have a 6 year lease in place. The current landlord has decided to sell the building now he has a tenant in which increases the value.

Two things will come of the auction….

1. The current owners of Gh events will buy it

Or

2. Someone else buys it but Gh events continue as the lease is in place

Hopefully this helps
