Did your school have “ houses” and if so what were they named after?

At my primary school it was local castles, senior school was local coal mines ( pits )

Ours were named after local places only one I remeber was the one I was in which was Alnwick, was also proud to be one of the few people that never earned a single house point haha

No we weren't that posh. Just year 1 to 5 or stay on in a six year back then. But the 6 year boys wore suits so got the piss taken out of them it was a rough school.
