And a trans person may not feel comfortable or may even feel threatened by using a male only public toilet and so his/her choice is limited as well. The solution is of course to have three different types of public toilet, but I feel local authorities have more pressing needs to attend too. |

You're completely right. But the problem stems from, some, trans people demanding certain rights, rather than the existing infrastructure actively denying trans rights. I'm sure there's a large amount of media sensationalism involved, but, terms like 'birthing person', 'chest feeding' and CIS... are being forced on people at the risk of being transphobic, this is not acceptable. |

I been using women toilets for almost 20 years globally zero issues as I am fortunate I travel the world a lot , some trans women just blend in with standard female normative levels . In day to day and it’s not like you have your cock out walking around lol. They are closed cubicles with washing basin section
What I have seen a few times is men harassing women they decided are not womanly or femme enough outside shopping centre bathrooms (looking at you Southampton lol ) though I just go report them
To security and they move them on .
I saw an older woman (60 ish ) in Sainsbury’s toilet accusing a tall 5ft10+ black woman with a bald head (50s) of being a man and trying to get me to agree with her which was comical at the stupidity of it .
As a trans woman of privilege all this current back lash / tweaks havnt affected my day to day life remotely thankfully and I just carry on happy days |
