Does this ever come up in conversation with anyone from fab when you're seeing them regularly?

If so, if they voted the other end of the spectrum to you would you continue seeing them

Note this post is not to slag off any particular political view, but I'm just curious to know how you feel it would impact you if they were the other spectrum to you

Yes as politics is important to me but I can respect other points of view. But then I only do fwb and you need to be able to talk about things with a friend.

I can debate politics easily.

What I won’t debate with anyone is the removal of rights from others based on sex, race, religion etc.

I only ever talk about politics to the extent that I want to know that people I'm considering spending time with do not have opposing values to me.

Yes it does, but you need intelligent people who are well read to have an objective understanding and capable to voice their opinions with clarity.

There is a couple on here and a lady who have that ability … which I have engaged in delightful political conversations with them .. it’s a treat for sure

However … action not words !

Voting the other end of the spectrum would possibly mean they held views I found unpalatable. I would need to know how they felt about certain things

I like different viewpoints but not people who are repulsive in their outlook on others. I like light and fun but a bit of depth can captivate

It would be a problem for me. I would never try to influence anyone's views. I just don't think we would have much in common.

If I'm seeing anyone regularly then we're having conversations. If the things they support hurt people I care about then I won't particularly want to bone them.

Actual political party or whether someone considers themselves right, left or centrist isn't particularly relevant 💜

I don't care where anyone is on the spectrum but starting a conversation about politics is a huge no and a valid reason for ending any engagement.

I have zero interest in politics and by association less than zero interest in anyone who would feel the need to bring it up in casual conversation.

It's less about people's politics for me and more about their personal views. For example we tend to associate things like racism and transphobia with right wing views and I think they are much more commonplace there but lots of people on the right don't hold those views and some people on the left do.

We absolutely need to know the people we are getting intimate with have the same views of basic compassion and human decency to allow us to click.

It's far more important in a couples meet than in a club though - in a club you dont have time to vet - our mouths are often too full to chat lol x

If people held overt political positions that align with racism & especially transphobia* I would not consider meeting them.

*I'm not Trans, I'm a transvestite, but those who would happily deny rights to Trans people whilst attempting to get in the knickers of a TV are pretty damn hypocritical in my view.
