Holy Priest is a hard techno DJ and producer known for his fast, industrial sound and distinctive masked presence.
He currently has one big hit in Germany called Vielleicht vielleicht which translates as maybe maybe.
What I have found surprising on techno channels were the number of women who fancied him. There was one girl from Chechia, who commissioned a painting of him and bought him and his team crates of customised energy drinks. While another girl try to propose to him while he DJed. Most of the time people make custom jackets for him to wear.
But why do some women find him irresistible when he wears a white mask with a cross on it and doesn't take it off during sets or promos? |

I think David Soul maybe the start of the masked singer craze.
There are the super heroes of course.
There was the Unknown Comedian he had a paper bag very funny too.
PJ Proby probably one of the most recognised voices did it on opportunity Knock, I remember saying at the time, it's PJ Proby. 
Then there was Leo Sayer, more clown than proper mask. Still mysterious.

Masked men are a pretty popular trope, not just in fiction. I mean look at the recent success of Sleep Token and the fandom around them too.

Think about Michelle Pfeiffer as catwoman, eyes wide shut, hot belly dancers … even Mrs incredible gets a big fan base

Because the face isn't that important to everyone.
Body looks good, he's a creative, exciting job and decent money, some people like the mysterious vibe of not knowing the face. I'm sure there's plenty of other things people can find appealing about him, I'm just working off a quick Google image as I had no idea who he is 💜 |

The hype , the fun, the mystery , the times with friends. the faux flirting,........ oh the music maybe ?
His body ? The absolute stupidity of it all ?
They adore the whole occassion. They are temporarily besotted by their own imaginations and who they 'think' he is or might be.
It's just fun. There's no answer.
Maybe in their hearts they tell themselves they'd still love him even if he was ugly...... maybe he is.

TBF his quite funny. Like most DJs will upload photos online of them playing on front of a massive crowds or sleaky promo shots like Sara Landry does ( another DJ in the hard Techno scene). Instead he recreates the American beauty rose petal scene but with him in it or a video of him taking his mask off only to have another mask on underneath. |
