Difference being voice driven and other visual, and benefit would be not having to worry about risks of catching any STI's / STD's or pregnancy.

That's just ridiculous as someone who lived in a separate country for over a year it's the furthest thing from desperate. To ridicule someone who is asking a question is desperate behaviour.
