I know is very early and the actual event is not till May 16th. Wow though, I think this year is going to be quite special. Lots of classical influences and some very creative songs and performances.
The top 3 favourite so far are Finland, France and Greece... very different but all rather strong. Have a look.
If not your thing, this thread is also not for you so try to resist the temptation. People enjoy it for lots of different reasons. Personally not my sort of music in real life but is fun and I enjoy it |

Ooooh, interesting choice! She could do quite well. I mean, no-one can ever live up to Sir Terry, he is the legend of Eurovision. |

Eurovision is my guilty pleasure. Some of the performances are hilarious, amazing, spectacular, weird or a combination of all. I enjoy the commentary explaining the song and who the artist/s is/are. |

Me and my mates have this as a tradition, some day drinking (FA cup final), food, then Eurovision which we have a drinking game for. It’s a shot of vodka for a particular thing that I won’t say in here, but you get hammered and the the end we are all fully invested in it!
Every time I tell new people yeh I watched Eurovision the other night “you what, why you watching that crap it’s so camp” then I tell them about the drinking game and they get it |

Ok, tin hat on, I have to ask.
What the hell just happened to the selection process for the uk entry every year? We’ve now had a succession of totally abysmal songs, and just when I thought we could not get any worse than last year, my fears have been realised with the absolute drivel this time round.
The amazing thing is, this is from a country Eurovision aside that has produced some of the greatest artists of all time, and some of our Eurovision entries have gone on to have long careers, Bucks Fizz immediately spring to mind.
I know in any competition it’s not about winning, more taking part, but I want to see my team and my country win, or at least put on something to be proud of. Those days seem to be gone as far as uk Eurovision is concerned. |

I think it is seen as the Kiss of Death to a singing career these days. Whereas at the start, it helped launched a few. |

I think our entry this year is a marked breath of fresh air.
Thomas Dolby vibes..
And whilst I don't think it's a winner, perhaps it's the beginning of a trend of better artists.
For me, Poland are the strongest with a singer that can actually sing live.. and I hope Romania make the final too.
Finland is terrible.
France is terrible.
They will probably win lol. |

There wasn't many that jumped out at us before the semis but after Tuesday and Thursday there's quite a few we liked. France and Poland are incredible singers, Greece and Moldova are mental and fun, Finland has great music, Australia is very strong, and there's quite a few other catchy ones. We're really looking forward to the final either way 😆 |
