Women into younger guys - Is it a thing of the past?

Ive been on fab for nearly 2 years now & Ive seen a dropping trend of women/ couples who are into younger guys. Is this down to bad experiences or just preference changes? Id love to know |

Thats what I have been seeing over the past months, it peaks my curiosity about it. Part of my mind says a bad experience or even some who maybe dont have that experience and treat the meet selfishly by not understanding the dynamics well enough |

Quite possibly mate, I just think it’s fear of younger lads not being able to give what they’re after or the stereotype of us being immature. Some guys obviously are and I understand why it puts women off but there are many of us who are the opposite just looking/hoping for a chance! |

I have to agree with your statement. I believe a lot of younger guys especially on here seem to come with an ungodly amount of self entitlement feeling that they’re not subject to even getting to know the person or couple to see if there is a smidge of chemistry. I would personally say they aren't here for the swinging aspect that the site was initially intended to provide but rather the “Sex” 🙄 |

I'm into maturity and stability. While some younger guys display that, they're very much the exception. (That's not to say older guys always display it either, but it's more likely. I've been wary of guys in their 20s since about 2007) |

Interesting take, maturity is a big factor in these things i must say whereas stability I am unsure what would fall under that category. How would one define their stability other than career and education? |

Is it possible, OP, that the reason for your seeing a difference is that you’ve aged? I’m not saying it is, but 2 years ago you would have been 25 and I can imagine that’s a very convenient number to use when limiting your search of young men |

I get a lot of younger guys message me and I have no problem meeting with them if there is a bit of a connection
And I have met a few
I do find though a large portion of them aren't interested in looking for a connection they just want to have a fumble and move on
I also find from talking to other women and the younger guys a lot of the women are looking at the ages because of the kids they have. They don't want to go with anyone around the same ages as their kids. I dont have any kids myself but I do get it |

I have a thing about their past, hence why I love older women…
I hear complaints from my female friends that have been with younger men - can’t relate, full of energy with no direction, inexperienced, selfish… a bull in a china shop situation and coming away from these experiences with a general feeling of ‘fun but left dissatisfied’
There’s also the general disbelief that a young man would truly be enamoured with the realistic appearance of an older woman…
There are however women that like these ‘young, dumb and full of cum types’ (Stiffler’s Moms that like to take these eager young men and their energy, permanent erections and direct it, tell them what to do and how to do it) so don’t despair- there’s also club nights designed specifically to bring older women together with younger men - Cubs ‘n’ Cougars being an example.

1 difference is probably that the women are probably more open and flexible about who they'll meet, older, younger, same age, etc - with good choice from each group but the younger guy has a much more restricted need and those to choose from. |

Personally I don’t think there’s anything wrong with younger guys, but I do think some of the reputation comes from low effort or immaturity and that affects everyone else in that age group.
At the same time though, I think there’s a bit of a mismatch in expectations.
Some people are looking for a proper connection, others are more about keeping things casual and neither is wrong, but it can clash.
End of the day, everyone’s here for their own reasons. I just think age gets blamed more than it should and how you come across probably matters more. |

We have a challenge for me (Laura) to get with an 18 year old and an 80 year old (not specifically but definitely a younger and older guy), just for a bit of fun.
We have found that the guys 25 and under seem so entitled, just incredibly up themselves that we have basically stopped looking. |

Always on the lookout for younger guys, but they have to be able to communicate on Fab and in person. 'Hi wuu2' is not an attractive opening message, and messages like this are the vast majority of what we see in our inbox from prospective meets. |

I love a younger gent, though must say more often then not we get chatting and arrange to meet and they dont show, maybe the fantasy of an older demanding woman sounds great in their head but when it comes to reality7 out of 10 bottle it and ghost for whatever reason. |
