Instead of missions to the moon and what not what would you like our scientists and engineers to be working on.
For me I'd like them to make a machine that packs sugar in bags without leaving a teaspoon of it in the fold so when you open it you don't get sugar everywhere. |

I get that it brings technological advances from it, we get a lot from war too but I was just being lighthearted about daily annoyances where surely there could be a solution (if we disregard costs etc) |

Most of the things you mention are not problems that can be solved with money alone.
Cancer is not a disease as such, it’s a natural function of genes, just an unwanted one. But we are much better at treating the symptoms.
My invention idea would be a device that reads a book and implants the contents into your brain

I don't think it's possible, it's a DNA issue sadly. But yes fully agree that science needs get money for things that benfit lives. |

Love to see many improvements on technology we have like green energy harvesting, push it to it limits in all situations.
But as a pure invention. Love to see more medical focus. Especially the band someone made that gave great results for Parkinsons. Feel when we help other we are really excelling. |

There are quicker ways to get off a commercial aircraft but you can generally do it only once. Also, there’s a fair amount of screaming involved |
