Selfies... anyone else crap at taking them?

I will admit I'm absolutely rubbish at taking selfies and a few people have said I look better in person. Which is fair enough as I am absolutely rubbish at taking them.
I don't know how some people do it and take marvellous selfies. |

Make sure the light is hitting your face, ideally from the side so your not squinting if it's in sunlight. Never take a pic with the light source behind you.
Look directly at the camera, and imagine your looking at someone you adore - shouldn't be difficult if you have yourself on the screen. 😂
Point and click. Don't overthink it.
We're all our worst critics, and you can guarantee you'll hate any pic that other people adore, so learn to embrace it! |

I’ve heard of this but I can’t cope at the thought of someone at a later finding that video of me looking gormless cos I forgot to delete it tho 😅 |

I never smile in them, to busy concentrating. I solved it with a little camera that has a small screen that seperates. It's an axcrion camera, but means I can actually take a pic and not get it so badly wrong |

Funny enough i posted about this a while ago, suggesting meets where people can dress/ undress and take photo shoots of each other. If it leads any futher all well & good.
But guess what ? Everyone replied saying no need we are able to take our own pics lol confused.com. |

I'm the same, I've gotten good at taking body pics and knowing what angles and lighting to use but haven't really cracked a natural looking selfie that also helps minimise the look of my hamster cheeks 😑 |

I had so many attempts at photos for the Copycat Challenge, and just kept hitting delete.
Not only am I crap at taking a photo of my face, but now I can't even take a decent arse pic (since when did it have wrinkles?!) |
