I’m the leader of an alliance on a mobile game and just realised it possibly the geekiest thing about me (besides the stacks of comic books etc)

I'm a different type of geek
Heavily research every purchase and potential purchase, well every aspect of my life
I want to buy a computer, research every accessory that I don't even need and how future proof it is
I want to cook... Research everything about the dish
I want to DIY, research every tool, wood and screw that's available
Maybe it's autism and not being a geek  |

I wouldnt say im that geeky to be fair, Star Wars is my guilty pleasure, I know alot about it, got posters, collectible, lego, I have 7 lightsabers including 1 I built in Disney Florida, cried a bit at the sight of the millennium falcon when there, ran at a man dressed as Chewy for a hug....

Nice - what marvel tarts do you have? I’ve got a half leg sleeve that includes: Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk and Wolverine and I’ve also got a gambit tattoo. On the other leg I’ve got one dedicated to the Joker - OK realising I’m way more geeky than I thought |

Sounds amazing! I have Loki on my forearm holding the tesseract, Iron Man on one shin and Dr Strange on the other. I also forgot to mention I have a TARDIS on my arm with "allons-y" across it |

I game, I love scifi, fantasy, horror books, films and TV. If it's got dragons, magic, swords and fucking, or space travel and existential questions about what it means to be human, or dystopian drama, I'm sold!
Also quite a politics/social sciences geek. |

Leader in an online game too. Waiting to book in our matching I love you 3,000 tattoos which we also used in our vows to surprise the other and couldn’t believe we’d both written it in 🤣 |

I was a member of the Dreamworks Gladiator forum (back in the day). Women (mostly) from all around the world typed about the virtues of the film, the plot, how hot Joaquin Phoenix was/is, how hot Russell Crowe was/is and other film related things.
We had a meet up in Manchester one year.

I’m going to be booking the first week of May as holiday next year for a week long celebration of 50 years since a 5 year old boy first sat in a movie theatre and discovered Star Wars
I was that 5 year old, and I still get the same thrill now that I got back then.

We both huge lego nerds give me a hard kit to do get a few podcasts on the go and I be off into my own lil world. Also have a few cobi tank kits which are fun to build. |

I always like the term ‘geek’ or ‘nerd’ because I think we all ‘geek out’ about something, whatever it is we’re passionate about, spend lots of time in our lives to….
For me it’s movies, music and the gym….
But I do also have too many Batman related tattoos…. |

Where to begin!! I love trees.. I’ve got quite a few Bonsais and I’ve no idea why I’m so fascinated by them or really into specific ones.
I watch most nerdy/sci-fi programmes, love collecting and have a soft spot for childhood stuff like Pokemon. Got all my old nintendos and gameboys so I like to do the whole vintage gaming night thing every now and again.
