No seatbelts
No IRA bomb threats
No little grocery shops
No big discos
No smoking indoors
No slap tickle fun with the girls at work
They would also probably ask what happened to the mills, coal mines, shipyards, and British industry in general.
I wonder what the reverse would be if we all suddenly woke up in the 1970's. Would we beg to return to 2026 or adapt to life 50 years ago. |

Raleigh Choppers are still being ridden around on. But the cost of one, is around 4x the price of a new Ford Cortina back in the 1970's. (Roughly basing the cost of a Cortina in the 1970's at £500 and the cost of a chopper on that well known auction site today, of £2,300) |

That 100,000 people belong to an online community for free sex, chat and laughs and yet few of them seem to achieve any of those things without first encountering dickheads, arseholes and whinging. |

They'd be surprised at just how healthy people look at an older age.
I was watching a documentary about Craghead Colliery and all of the miners in their 50s looked as if they were in their 70s. |

"All the missing pubs.
"
As the awful frozen-food that remaining Pubs are serving now. I remember the first time I travel to London in the 90’s, you can find Jack potatoes everywhere. Pub foods had that homemade authentic touch |

They'd be shocked to find, No coal miners on strike as there are no coal mines.
No industry or manufacturing in Britain.
Commuters not in suits and hats waiting patiently for trains, that could still be on strike.
Workers wages - the cost of EVERYTHING
