Somewhere In The Ether…

He’s done so many great films in his long career so it’s a tough one to answer.

Ok….Carlito’s Way may just get my vote 👍🏻

Obviously the trilogy but also Glen Gary Glen Ross - tour de force effort - in all star cast he excelled.

"Godfather pt II

Pesci came out of retirement to do it. It’s long (very) but brilliant. It kinda wraps up the gangster arc of Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino etc…the fading of old school gangsters..

"The Irishman. Best Pacino has been in a long time.

I remember when it came out there was a critic who said it's best to watch it as a trilogy. So they split the film into three parts, mentioning a specific scene without giving away spoilers. I might do that myself.

Don't know if the film is any good , recently bought it on DVD to watch in my new man cave but Bobby Deerfield is a sort of period peace set in the 70s about a formula one driver that made use of the F1 circus in the 70s. Historic motor racing an interest of mine so scenery and sets will be of interest to me. Many films made about motor racing very few were any good though. Will wait for a Sunday afternoon and open a bottle of vino and see what it's like (and the vino).

It's a bit uninspired tbh. Marthe Keller is very good and lovely but considering the talent involved, it's a disappointment.

Not many movies based around motor racing are usually any good or worth watching buy any regular movie goer.Nerdy motor racing enthusiasts like me are curious even so aboutthe periodand cars(like this one) if they are shot around an actual real racing series that reflects an actual period 1970s F1 here.

was quite unique and interesting to nerdy enthusiasts that grew up back then.

couple, us we him her.

I'm not going to be popular but I don't rate him, I think he's a one trick pony who really only brings intensity to a role.

I find him irritating and smarmy.

I can't think of a film where I felt blown away by his performance.
