Favourite Al Pacino movie?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Controversial but not the biggest fan of Pacino. However he does have some great films …
Donnie Brasco
Carlitos’ Way
Dog Day Afternoon
The Godfathers
To name few amazing ones. The first two are in my top 10 all time amazing films |

"Godfather pt II
I still haven't seen The Irishman. Yet."
Pesci came out of retirement to do it. It’s long (very) but brilliant. It kinda wraps up the gangster arc of Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino etc…the fading of old school gangsters.. |

"The Irishman. Best Pacino has been in a long time.
Way too long to watch!"
I remember when it came out there was a critic who said it's best to watch it as a trilogy. So they split the film into three parts, mentioning a specific scene without giving away spoilers. I might do that myself. |

Don't know if the film is any good , recently bought it on DVD to watch in my new man cave but Bobby Deerfield is a sort of period peace set in the 70s about a formula one driver that made use of the F1 circus in the 70s. Historic motor racing an interest of mine so scenery and sets will be of interest to me. Many films made about motor racing very few were any good though. Will wait for a Sunday afternoon and open a bottle of vino and see what it's like (and the vino). |

It's a bit uninspired tbh. Marthe Keller is very good and lovely but considering the talent involved, it's a disappointment. |

I'm not going to be popular but I don't rate him, I think he's a one trick pony who really only brings intensity to a role.
I find him irritating and smarmy.
I can't think of a film where I felt blown away by his performance. |
