has anybo0dy else had problems with safe search? i recently changed broadband supplier to sky and overnight found myself locked out of accounts du e to this. i tried to rectify the problem myself but was unable to and had to call in a computer expert to sort it for me

It's a problem every time I switch providers - they default to safe for kids.

It's not a major hassle for me to fix though - just a bit of Googling, certainly no experts required

Sorry you had to call an engineer. Safe search is very easily turned on or off by the computer owner. No provider necessary.

What is happening of late though is that new legislation making companies responsible for childrens' access or for ensuring children don't access harmful content is to switch everyone to safe search until you prove your age using i.d. documents
