It's sort of a no contest.
The force requires no wand. A simple force neck grip (it won't let me use the C word) (all you kinksters sit down it's not like that).
Harry needs to get the words out, Vader for the most part thinks it.
We are talking about "the chosen one" with insane control of the force vs a very talented wizard.

But harry has some ridiculously uncanny good luck. I think something would transpire that gives Harry a slight edge, not to beat Vader but to escape and then ask Hermione to come up with some sort of plan, obviously Ron would be involved in this elaborate plan and somehow it would probably work in there favour after say 7 books or 8 movies |

That's a good point... How does plot armour factor into this? I mean, Voldemort could've yeeted baby Harry out the window so if Harry can survive that, he could maybe use his invisibility cloak as a sneaky attack! |

It’s a yes from me. Especially if they have a favourite Star Trek series and can calmly accept that Harry would be absolutely obliterated by Vader, not just in a fight to the death, but also at UNO where Vader would absolutely draw +4 with intent |

No. Vader is too strong and ruthless. This is a guy who had no issue obliterating a Jedi nursery. Ending a teenage punk with orphan issues is no problem. Harry at any stage in the books going solo would lose. Even with help, he'd lose, although he'd probably survive longer. Ron would also get smashed. Hermione too. The wizards are no match for the force. |

When, on the edge of defeating the wizard, Vader turns and says .. Harry I am your father … we have the dawn of a new trilogy …. Darth Potter and the deadly Jedi .. followed by Ewoks and the empires stone and finally …. Harry and the rerun of the light sabre … it will happen.. it will be great |
