I have come to the conclusion that hold ups for me are a waste of money. They just cause stress and embarrassment as never stay up for long. I prefer bare legs or tights these days.

Make sure they fit properly first. Better brands will have sizes based on thigh circumference, cheaper brands will claim to be sized but all that really happens is the leg is longer.

Choose a wider plain or lace top with either a thick silicone banding or multiple

Extra Tricks: Hairspray, skin tac or sock glue

Failing all that get the claw clip suspenders and double down on the security
