"Evening for sure. My body is just not ready for a workout in the morning."
Mine isn't either. I think it is because I am so used to do night shifts etc that my body is used to being active at night. |

I try to get there during the afternoon between the lunch and post work rush and the same timings seem to work best at the weekends too. I prefer it when the gym’s quiet and I’m not queuing for the kit I want. |

I think you're also generally stronger later in the day - warmer body etc. |

I work out at home so I don't need to worry about the gym being busy, but I tend do evenings on weekdays and mornings on weekends, which just fits in best with my life.
There's no noticeable change in performance and motivation varies from day to day. |

I've often thought about doing home workouts. Getting some weights and just doing it at home. |

It's really convenient, main limitation is no machines and lack of really heavy weights, but I've got a 35kg dumbbell set which pretty much does me for legs and I've got a bench and a few lighter sets that I've bought over the years. |

I hate waiting and queuing especially when someone, mostly young lads are just messing around. |

Early, but not too early.. anytime from about ten, to give me enough time to eat a little something then give it at least an hour to go down.
I hate trying to eat as soon as I wake up, but I've found if I do my workout on an empty stomach it gives me a headache. So had to find a balance between the two 👍 |

I always go after work as it helps with the release of the day. It is busier but I'm not a morning person. I tried doing it in the morning before work for about 6 months and while I liked getting it out of the way, I burnt myself out quite quickly because I just couldn't get to bed early enough. |

When I can - I work long hours, 6 days a week, but my gym is at work, so I nip in for a 40 minute weights routine 3x per week, usually instead of eating lunch. Then 3x per week cardio on the other days, just 20 minutes or so of rowing. If I miss my usual slots, it can get very full of the Social Gym crowd, and gets very frustrating. |

I usually go in the afternoon or evening with a friend or our eldest daughter for company. MrCC prefers to go at 4am.
I don’t mind it busy but he like to go when he knows he’ll be able to get on the equipment he wants, in the order he prefers. |
