Newcastle and Gateshead

So for the first time, in a supermarket poll, it seems people tend to buy more supermarket own label stuff than the branded equivalent….

So… is there any brand product that you are willing to not compromise on?

Let’s see what you are willing to die on those hills for!

I genuinely dont think there is a single product I wouldn't buy the supermarket label first, unless the branded equivalent was the same price (usually on "offer")

I once made the grave error of trying Asda value range Salad Cream once.

It looked like jizz; hell, it may even have tasted like it.

Poo paper. Andrex quilted, doubled up.

Tommy K. Heinz.

Deodorant. L’Oréal Men Expert. Because my sweaty pits are worth it.

Pizza. Chicago Town.

Shoe polish. Kiwi.

Toothpaste. Sensodyne. Because I’m sensitive in every way.

Pretty much everything else I trust Mr J. Sainsbury and his food bitches to make for me.

I don't buy the label I buy the contents. That's about it.

If it's crap then I'm not buying it just because it's cheaper.

If it's as good or better and not full of rubbish ingredients and substituted ingredients then you better believe I'm saving my money.

If I can't afford the version that experience has taught me I'll enjoy, or that I need for whatever reason, then I'll do without until I can afford it.
