Be honest… Astrology/zodiac signs

I’m going to buck the trend.
As a firey Aries I have married 2 Taureans. (Not at the same time)
I have vowed never to marry another Taurus 🤣🤣
I am a typical Aries. That being said, I’m sure that there is a lot of people who are typical of there star sign as there are so many people in each group. |

Because if I google star signs and their meanings, it will find thousands of different websites and each site will say something different. So I can be truthful, honest, harsh, fiery, laid back, smart, enthusiastic, bold, calm, a leader… and so on. Half of them contradict the other. |

Given that I can be one of two star signs, depending the source, I take with a pinch of salt. Though do see some traits in me. It's fun and less problematic than religion, so those who love it, keep enjoying. |

Absolute rubbish. Some people like to come up with excuses as to why they don't date certain people or for their own bad behaviour. "It didn't work out because our signs didn't match" or "I'm a (insert star sign) this is how we are" as examples. |

I wish I never exposed myself to them. As I now go into every interaction with a preconception on how things may pan out.

How many billion people are there in the world? 8.3 billion.
How many zodiac signs are there? 12.
It is statistically unlikely that over 600 million people born within the same month-long period share the same personality traits or fate.
Not even going to go into the issue of stars or planets at birth influencing our traits of lives!

The mighty Sagittarius / Centaur. Were the star signs accurate in 'The Sims' game? I remember each one gave the Sim a different set of skills. Now that I think about it, there were many games that gave players the option to choose a star sign. I guess the developers were strong believers, or they knew their target audience was. |

They're kinda like if your friend throws an arm across your shoulder and says
"Hey, hang in there. There's a decent chance you'll get a promotion/ travel/ find a new love interest / *insert wishful thinking* next month. It's due. There's good things ahead for you."

I’m into it.
You’re not supposed to have every trait for your sign, just as serial killers don’t have every trait in their profile. And you have to go a bit deeper into it than just your star sign, there is your moon sign and much more taken into account.
And my most successful relationships have been with men I am compatible with star sign wise.
At the very least it’s interesting (to me). |

I always get that oh no feeling when I chat to a woman on dating app or on here and out the boue they ask “what star sign are you” (or when’s your birthday, which leads on to star sign).
I’ve never been ‘rejected’ based on it but I still roll my eyes at the idea that they think I am a particular type of person, yet if I was born a few hours later and it fell onto the next months star sign they could think something totally different about me. Ridiculous |

There is more to astrology than reading in The Mirror (for example) that Leo’s are going to have a shocker of a week and to stay away from women with an E in their name 😄
Birth charts can include moon signs, rising signs, houses, planetary placements, birth time etc. There is lots more to it.

I read stuff about pisces and their personality traits etc and I can relate to a lot of it, but I could probably say that about most of the signs as they are so bloody vague.
I love the aesthetic of this type of thing, but I don't believe in any of it really. |
