Today I received a reply to a message along with 2 lovely pictures, which I as not expecting.
Unfortunately I did not have time to reply straight away as I was working, and I have been blocked, presumably because the lady may have thought I had ghosted her.
I only found out when I went to reply, and have no way to reach her or apologise for the delay in reply (less than 24hrs)
I am intentionally not including names here, and I know she cannot read this post.
Just be careful on your reply times, and please think twice before blocking someone who does not reply straight away, we all have lives x |

Or you could hit the 'mark as unread' button until you're ready to reply? |

Most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. It can take some time to work it out and it's helpful when the other party does it for you. Only a tiny minority will match both ways. You can keep it simple and just move on |

Don't worry about it. It happens to us all.
Once very recently. I took too long to reply to a face pic and was blocked. Weirdly I saw them in the supermarket tonight but obviously couldn't acknowledge them there!
I use the "mark as unread" function on a message if I can't reply there and then.
If I see a message on my lunch break for example but need to be in a different environment to reply.

What makes you think she cannot read this?
Blocking someone does not make their forum posts invisible. |

It happens a lot. I have had a few similar. I get a reply and then a picture and then they just ignore me and a couple have blocked. I have had similar when they have messaged fist. Part of the way FAB is for some of us. |

It happens, OP. It is a good practice, if you can't reply to the message there and then, to mark the message as unread. It would be a reminder to you, next time you log in, that you still need to reply. People do take "read but not replied to" as "no, thank you", and I probably would have done the same, block the person, as it would look to me like they weren't interested. |

I dared to post a respectful point of view in a political thread. I was automatically blocked for almost every Reform supporter there. That says a lot about them...and me too  |
