I play tennis at the JCCS Middleton Leeds, there are lessons once per week (paid for monthly).

Moving to Manchester in a week and I'm looking for a similar club recommendations in Manchester, preferably indoor Tennis Courts with lesson plans.

How do you get compete in the big comps like Wimbledon.

Like can you fill in an app tomorrow and start practicing a bit and play in the entry rounds?

Not for Wimbledon or the big Tournaments no, I think you have to be in the top 200 players in the World or something for Wimbledon from a recognised ranking body, or get a wildcard invite from the Tournament or play lots of qualifying tournaments.

Starting out at Junior level usually as it takes years and you could then catch the eye of a Coach who trains you up to standard, but yeah, usually takes years.

There are loads of smaller tournaments and only the top of the top of the top get's to go to wimbledon. It's kinda a weird complex system, that honestly, I dont understand myself.

I'm way past that for myself, only started playing this year, it's mostly a fun game I enjoy playing, also gets my cardio in. Might get my kids into it (if I ever have them)
