How can they identify names and addresses?
Is there any more danger to these than someone reverse image searching a photo that someone uses that they've daftly also used on Facey?
I know people are worried about being recorded in clubs by people wearing these, but isn't there a flashing red light on them that can't be turned off and if covered, switches off the record function? 🤔 |

Thanks, Minion. This seems like Google Glasses which I thought had well and truly gone the way of the dodo because people hated the idea of being unknowingly filmed. |

The ones I've just googled - Ray Neo XP Pro - can do a lot more than recording and they cost, as much as a very old car.
Used for AI. (Augmented Reality.)....you know your getting old when your wondering if you could use them to read a number plate at 25 yards? |

it is the same with all technology. there was the designers intended use for it. and then someone found a different use for it.
GPS, navigation and then it got more accurate till a bomb/missile comes through your window. yet the vast majority use it in the car to find their way around.
the issue with the glasses is that they are made to look like glasses and the camera lense is very small, with no light to say that it is working. |

Nope.
"Yes, Meta smart glasses (such as the Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta collections) feature a highly visible LED indicator light on the front right corner of the frames. This light flashes when taking a photo and remains active while recording video.Meta designed these glasses with built-in sensors that detect if the LED light is covered. If the system detects the privacy light is blocked, it will issue an on-screen alert and prevent you from recording until it is cleared." |

Yes, they can record discreetly the flashing red light and let you know if you are super close, and now they cannot identify names from any 3rd party information, but they can't remember people that you've already met from your contacts |

they have already been altered with light blockers that allow them to still record
