Need some inspiration, recommend me something. I like comedies, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, thrillers. Old or new I don't care.

not local even if it says I am

I watched The Martian again the other day. Love that film.

Or The Lost Boys or Stand By Me or The Goonies are all the greatest films ever!

All great films. I've watched The Lost Boys and Goonies fairly recently with the kids (just the older one for Lost Boys)

Respectfully disagree about Apex. Apart from the soundtrack and Egerton, the rest was poor. So much potential to be really good.

Hopefully everyone has got better films than me to watch

I'm being forced to watch the awful Piglet film (the absolute pile of wank horror one) by the kids (I say kids, they are 19 and 17)

Mortal Kombat 1 (2021). Around £3.50 to stream on Amazon. If you like it, then I highly recommend the sequel in cinemas now. Comedy, gore, and intense fighting.

"Flawless Victory".

Nightcrawler - underrated, so good.

Companion - go in knowing nothing, don't watch any trailers.

City Slickers - Billy Crystal classic

Almost Famous - my favourite film of all time.

A Monster Calls - heartbreaking and profound

Just watched Code 46, downloaded via iplayer, 10 days left.

Tim Robbins and Samantha Morton.

Little peculiar, not sci fi per se. Still earth as we know it, but with slightly different rules
