TFI Friday is on the TV! When did that happen?

I'll reserve judgement.

But what else from the 90s needs to make a comeback??

(Young people, you can pick something from the 2000s for the sake of inclusion - no need for the "I was 2 in the 90s" posts! 🤣)

Huddersfield

Spending hours just tinkering with Ceefax teletext.

Watching the portable black and white TV on camping trips.

Pretending to be ill just to skip school and snuggle back into bed and watch the morning cartoons. I think many kids got the same idea.

Just the general excitement of getting a video game magazine with a new demo disc and pc games came in boxes with large manuals.

TOTP. A time when the Spice Girls, Aqua, Oasis, Blur, and Ace of Base were stealing the charts.

Watching the latest reviews on TV like Cybernet, GamesMaster, and Movies, Games, and Videos.

Saturday night live game shows, followed by mystic Meg and the lotto numbers by Camelot.

Having a long soak in the bath and listening to long-wave radio Atlantic 252.

Less social media, so less distraction and choice. Millions tuned in to see a show and there was a feeling like it was a national event. Things were not so rushed. Films came out in America months before Britain and penpal letters and postcards were still very popular. Also far less people seemed to go abroad for holidays and the other side of the world felt like a million miles away. Different times.

Although every generation probably looks back with rose-coloured glasses.

Don’t bother… watched two episodes of it…

It’s just a rehash of old TFI segments nothing original or new.

Chris Evans just trying to make himself relevant.

It will appeal to the nostalgia gang.

I did. Got carried away by the thrill of the joke. Know you're more a Take Me Out man anyway.

But what a show...made this teenage boy pretty happy too. 🤣

There's a whole thread about pic and mix choices.

Just get those snowies and jazzies in my mouth pronto!

"They need to bring g back spitting image. It would have a field day at the moment. "

They did, didn't they, at least within the past few years?

Bedfuck

I was recovering from the 80's in the 90's so not my cup of tea. Find Chris Evans an annoying twat.

Politics, we went from one bunch of muppets to another. Charles n Diana nightmare. Lost my Ford Capri.

Ended up back working in an industry I hated. Finally my sister unknowingly married a complete deceitful bastard who looks ans sounds like that twat Chris Evans. Fuck the 90's .

Ah, Beef. I wish. It beggars belief how far we've come (in the wrong direction).

I can't be friends with anyone who didn't like Spaced.
