I suspect it doesn’t mean (usually) anything professional. People like to pose, the dynamic can be exciting for many.
I love taking photos but am a real amateur, I’ve a couple of profiles on sites like adult folio etc but it’s a hobby |

We love taking photos, mostly with a phone as it’s easy and portable. Possibly two phones if with another couple in a room. But always with consent to film and share.
Hubby is into photography in a big way but we don’t use anything professional as that can ruin the vibe (for us anyway) x |

It's an all-encompassing term and can mean different things to different people but also, ideally, where two people can share such interests. I enjoy it mostly for my own profile curation but have done so for others' at their behest using their devices.
This is not a dig, just an observation but I'm quite bemused that, despite your eponymous name, you have nothing to showcase in your profile. However, that's your prerogative. 🩶 |

I would have thought it meant during a meet with your preferred kit (which I suspect in most cases is a phone). However some, ourselves included, enjoy taking photos and creating images. We even use studio flash and wear outfits to give us character, which is probably beyond what most people on here do.

I'm also a tog and enjoy taking photos of all sorts of things. My own work, outside of commissions, focuses on portraiture. Usually documentary imagery that has a strong narrative.
Have to say i don't really bring my skillset to fab though. I feel that action shots don't interest me because of the aesthetic, however, I have toyed with the idea of doing some classy studio boudoir style images but we'll see |
