VPNs are less regulated than ISPs so you can basically take any promises about logging/privacy and ignore them entirely. Your data is probably safer with your home ISP than with a VPN company.
No other choice if you want to bypass geographic restrictions (or do things which your ISP might report you for) but don't let yourself get into a false sense of security. |

Instead of using VPN, I pay for NextDNS, which is linked to my router but you can also configure it on devices outside your network.
It has an option to bypass age verification and so far has worked with no issues. |
