Today my eldest questioned if their MMA coach could beat me in a fight. My 4 year old was mortified at such a suggestion and that of course I’d beat him!
Yeah, I would get my arse handed to me on a plate in said fight but was still lovely to know he still saw me to be invincible.

Massively uncool, although I take comfort in being slightly less uncool than their dad. The 18 year old is gradually relaxing about being seen with me in public, but the 15 year old has given me strict instructions not to make eye contact with him when out of the house. |

It depends what I'm doing at the time...to my youngest I am still the best thing in their world which is great.
My daughter is very much like me sometimes I'm cool when she's stealing my stuff and others im embarrassing.
The older boys treat me like a China doll at times but one didn't think it was cool when someone asked him if he was my bf when having a drink 🤣 |

Yep... as teenagers, ours think we are the worst. Thing is, the more uncool they think I am, the more joy I get out of driving past them on the school run and shouting out "love you babies, be good today" |

My 12 year old thinks I'm the devil reincarnated. She obviously knows everything about everything and I'm not allowed to breathe within 6 meters of her or it sets her off.

I close one eye to focus when typing on my phone and only use one index finger. Keyboard is too small even for that finger, and spelling would be all over the place if I used my thumbs like they do. |

I think I’ve come through the other side. After years of mum (my ex) being ace and me a fool it’s swung the other way. Suddenly I’m the one they respect and love most.
