Corporate Crime - I'd change the assumption from that of innocence to that of the people at the top being guilty unless they can prove otherwise. Too many big businesses are essentially immune from the law because it is so difficult to prove a case. Personal responsibility by the leaders would go a long way to reducing tax evasion, environmental degradation and corporate manslaughter all in the pursuit of them getting a better bonus. |
