Border of London

1. Beethoven, seventh symphony, specifically second movement. (And half the rest of them, NOT Von Karajan)

2. Bach Chaconne (Partita #2 - Perlman or Hahn).

3. Brahms string sextet (#1, second movement).

4. Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia.

5. Too much choice!

Cum Dederit (nisi dominus) by vivaldi. The version sung by Andreas scholl is utterly utterly gorgeous.

small cave, behind the big cave.

Not a great lover, 1812 Overture was decent as I remember. I do have a Bocelli download that I do like however. Not strictly Classical but near enough for this Ol’ Edbanger.

I watched an old Slipknot concert on YouTube a little while ago and Cannibal Corpse popped up because of the algorithm.

I couldn't understand a word he was singing about

Not a real classical music lover but earlier this month went to a recontextualisation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by Anna Merideth, fused with her own electronic music. Brilliant and blown away by the Hallé

Partial to Maurice Ravel's Bolero, I blame the movie 10, watched during teenage adolescent years.

Also love the blue Danube from 2001 a space Odyssey

There must be something in it, look at all those adverts that use classical music and it’s great, British airways, pure new wool …….. and who doesn’t remember Nessun Dorma, but blimey, it all goes on a bit too long for me. The odd sound bite is great, but sitting through hours of it feels torturous.

"The planets suite by Gustav Holst"

This, hands down. Even against all other genres I list this as my favourite album of all time. It has everything.

...to add something else to the thread though, I'll go with Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue'
