All over

Do you still do them, if you ever did, or not your thing. And if you do, what are your favourite destinations.

They should do grown up versions of school away day trips on a bus.

Bus turns up at work and off you go

Apart from day trips on holidays, I think my last coach day trip was to Alton Towers about 33-34 years ago

Carmarthen / Llandeilo

Being brought up in South Wales, the favourite destinations for the summer school trip was either: Dan-yr-ogof Caves or Penscynor Wild Life Park. Anybody around my age brought up in South Wales will probably have been there.

Carlisle

Not coach trips but when away on holiday I make good use of the public buses to get around for sightseeing.

I'm just back from Menorca and took the bus to visit Mahon. The old town is lovely.

Manchester

I've gotten a coach to other cities a couple of times as it was cheaper than the train, but my longest coach trip was once an organised trip from Manchester to Amsterdam through uni with two friends for my 21st. I get travel sick at the best of times, 14 hours each way and choppy water on the ferry was not fun 🤢

There must still be great demand as the services are full of coaches taking day trippers here and there and everywhere

Hove, mainly…

Not been on one since secondary school. The coach was dark blue with lots of chrome and was old even then, it was called The Delaine. It even had tables with built in lamps. My memory for some things is weirdly accurate.

I remember few of the school trips too. More recently I think last one I went to was to Filey to take an elderly friend out for the day but even that was few years back. I think I might enjoy doing one or two again

Had a few school trips on a coach. Never done one as an adult. I'd travel around the coast.

We should get a Fab group trip planned. I'm a bad traveller. Like someone else, I had a coach trip to Dover or Calais, possibly, as I had a client which provided travel. I then went on to Amsterdam. I was seasick very badly

The last coach trip I had, age 20

Been on a couple in recent years..Southport and Stratford upon Avon. Cheap and cheerful and both were lovely days out.

Went on lots as a youngster as my mom used to organize them for the local children. Blackpool illuminations was a yearly occurrence, symonds yat to name a couple of places.

I've been on quite a few holidays and day trips. The family company who I went with were great value for money. They did great deals with hotels, but they weren't posh hotels, which doesn't bother me.
