The impression I got from USYK was that he completely underestimated Rico and nearly paid the price?he surprised everyone with how long he lasted but I weren't as he's a beast when kick boxing but still I thought USYK would take him in 4 or 5 rounds?champions always find a way and he did just that but he was a LUCKY LUCKY BOY!the ref definitely should've let Rico come out for the 12th! |

Honestly the first seconds of the fight, the way they were just circling eachother, I thought it was AI generated 😅. The first couple of rounds, the way Usyk was performing, I thought it was gonna be a staged fight 👀. Was really amazing with the boxing style Rico adopted...for a 6'5 fighter he chose this awkward (not in a negative) peek a boo style, leaning forward so much...even for a Thai boxing stance, his head was really low...but it worked great, constantly moving and circling Usyk...I guess Usyk was taken by surprise, as he couldn't do much for 10 rounds. Great performance by Rico...I definitely expected more from Usyk- not sure if he underestimated Rico, or this was his plan from the beginning, or maybe his mind was somewhere else🤔 ...but he just didn't look like his usual self. Overall a very entertaining fight- respect to both...stoppage was 🐃💩 and really hope Rico appeals it 🙏 |
