Noooo not thrashing your arms and legs about wildly

But those rivers, streams, lakes, lochs estuary’s and coastlines etc

I’ve been the last 3 days and it’s a nice change from getting frost bite lol

Anyone else a fan

No, the only way you will get me in the sea or a river in the UK is if I am in my canoe, on my windsurfing board, and wearing a wet suit - it's bloody freezing, and I like the water to be warm.

I love a sea swim and fortunate enough to live close to a beautiful place.

It has so many benefits for me.

Spose they could put a plaque up when I drown. Maybe a statue. I’d prefer a statue.

I wouldnt be able to wild water swim apart from.in the sea. But it makes me laugh as its portrayed as a new thing.

My dads generation learnt to swim in rivers and lakes as no such thing as swimming pools

Part of a local group that swim in the sea all seasons.

Been in the sea in Norway during January.

They have saunas at the end of jetties, just go down steps into the icy sea.

The term "takes your breath away " is never more true. You have to manually breathe in and out for the short time you are submerged, then out of the water, looking like a boiled lobster 🦞 and back into the sauna.

Its an experience, Paul was an absolute no way, us ladies always push the envelope. 🤣🤣

I love those especially when they’ve had to break the ice on the lakes etc

Didn't have to break the ice on the sea but watching a small iceberg float along nearby is an experience that can’t be missed.

It one of those experiences that brings joy to life and a realisation of how lucky a lady I am.

We all get one life, none of us we get out of it alive, so fill your boots. 🤣🤣

My sister got married at the ice palace in finland. The photos of her honeymoon is of them all wrapped up in their wetsuit type of thing but much stronger, entering the water surrounded by small icebergs

We often park up on the Solway coast for the night in the camper. Have a few drinks and a late night skinny dip. Sometimes even a morning skinny dip. Always fun walking back up the shore naked between the dog walkers lol

I just had a swimming cossie on.

Mind you, the sauna place at the end of the jetty had boys around it about 5m away, could only swim up to them and back.

Bloody hilarious watching people's reactions when in water both those in water and on land watching. 🤣🤣
