So I was meant to do a quick job and get to my office by half 9 this morning. Went around a car on a country lane, boom, pot hole with an instant flat tyre!
No spare tyre to fit and the tyre repair kit didn’t cut it as puncture is too big. In the middle of nowhere with no trees around so I am just baking in the sun.
… plus I have gammon in the car which was going into the office fridge so that’s nice and warm now…

My Monday is a bloody delight. Sat on the deck in the shade where it’s 27 degrees but there’s a slight breeze so it’s perfect. I have coffee and croissants and no work for another two weeks 🎉 |

I just had to spend the budget I'd set for getting to and enjoying a music festival at the weekend on vet fees (which may yet increase as the week continues), so it looks like my festival ticket could well be going to waste and I might be spending the weekend at home alone. |
