Do you naturally tan or do you sunburn?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Always tan pretty well. But may have overdone it slightly yesterday. I'm a little pink. Rarely do we have such heat this time of year so I was caught off guard. I do go vroqn after I go pink so hopefully the next few days and I'll be golden brown 😅 |

When I was younger I used to tan just with the bare mention of sun, as I've got older I tend to burn a bit more then tan. Even though I have Scottish genes on one side they all had olive complexions that thankfully passed on.
Will soon see in 2 months when I'm actually on a sunlounger catching rays. |

Celtic, fair skinned brunette (originally) so I tend to go red and the redness tends to linger longer than it should 😭😭😭
My arms and hands go brown from the gardening I do. I wear a hat so my face isn’t used to the sun. I just look really hot and flushed 😭😭😭 |

Polly struggles to tan - after a full summer the freckles may or may not eventually join up.
I tan at the thought of the sun which is great as I dont get any daylight for 3 weeks when I'm offshore. Home for one day, quick 12 mins in the sunbed and people think I've been working abroad Fabulous 👌 |

"I tan but my legs are always several shades behind my arms, despite wearing shorts at every opportunity when the sun appears."
I'm similar though I can tan the lower part of my legs from the knee down easily..but my thighs tend to stay milky white despite my best efforts....really annoying |

I try to avoid the sun, I certainly don't sunbathe, can't think of anything less fun. Think my Celtic roots are the reason I go red, peel and return to white.
Forearms can tan slightly, but white bits are strong. 😁 |

I can do both 🤣 if I’m sensible and do sun cream properly and stuff I tan really well. And usually if I burn, a few days later it turns tan and yes I know that it’s bad for me when I burn I just forget in this country to put some on |

I'm naturally tanned. My skin is weird though. Sometimes my skin will darken, sometimes it will lighten. It's like the heat is different depending on which country I'm in. I'm sure there's a scientific explanation for it, I just don't have that kind of knowledge. |

"I turn red like a lobster. The tan in my pics is from a bottle. SoSu tanning mousse ultra dark.
"
Wish I could use a bottle...unfortunately it just looks silly on a Redhead as we naturally don't tan.
It suit you though |

Fortunately always gone tanned really easily! Only the normally covered white bits like feet and shoulders can get burned if not careful, but dont exactly walk around here in slides or sandals or get my top off much lol |
