I have no confidence for meets anymore, I feel people should understand being in your sixties means you are older and not as fit as you once were.

Stella can age. What I mean is - you don't have to be as fit as you once were. People should have realistic expectations of others - I know that if I meet someone middle aged there's a 99% likelihood of them needing a power nap/to rest their eyes at some point.
Rediscover that confidence, slowly. Getting older doesn't mean things have to stop, change a little? Maybe. Start meeting those who have enough maturity to understand you where you are now, not the porn fantasy.
Maybe Stella isn't for you any more and something else could be. I hope you find that self belief once more, OP. |
