I like trying new things, I'm pretty adventurous. Today's adventure has been going to Popeyes for lunch for the first time ever. It was better than KFC in every single way except for the flavours, which means it's ultimately inferior. But I've broadened my horizons and that makes me happy 😊.
Anyway what have you tried for the first time recently and how was it? |

Today I tried a little of British pride, for the first time, not feeling like a complete outsider.
After ten years living on this lovely Island, I decided to apply for citizenship. I did two exams, a language exam and a knowledge test, all between a heavily overloaded week at work. I succeeded in both. I'm very tired but so happy. One of the first places I visited in the UK was the British Library to admire the Magna Carta. I still can't believe how this nation was so ahead of its time and wrote down that paper masterpiece. Yes, I felt proud today. 🇬🇧❤️

Feel like I have been trying to find someone to try something new with, or someone from a lot further away but all just keeps falling flat. Everyone is suddenly all talk, no action.
So hopefully the next time this thread pops up I will have a fun answer! |
