The Place I Love - The Jam. No matter how shitty my mood, I hear that song and I feel instantly better.
Conversely, Chris Farlowe’s version of Paint it Black makes me want to kill. Armies should be sent to war listening to this. |

I'm familiar with Chris Farlowe and paint it black but not together. I will need to listen 👍🏻

Music is so evocative but this one just reminds me of being in my early twenties, working 4 days a week so on my day off I could 'work' at the stables, it was with a great team and was having a giggle and feeling so lucky to be able to do it. Happy memories. |
