Is night life over in town and cities near you

Drove through blackpool down the prom last night about 11sh was so quiet for a Saturday night.i remember working the doors from the early 90s till 2019 was so busy everywhere packed out queuing to get in venues and look at it now like a ghost town.if blackpool is quiet now what's it like where you live nowadays.

Same here… village life - peaceful and everyone sticks there nose right into your life. Every minor details spreads like wild fire. Any car that drives past, parks at the house.

Troublesville

Barnstaple used to be a hive of goings on with lots of pubs and a few good clubs (small town clubs)

Now most the pubs are either closed or too posh for me. The clubs have closed and reinvented themselves but still struggle. The younger generation don’t go out drinking until 11pm and go straight to the club if they go out.

I went to a Machine Head show at Brixton Academy 2 weeks ago

It was an amazing heavy metal gig There was only one bar open in Brixton afterwards. I went to a gig in Shepherds Bush a week later There was almost nothing open after the gigs Hopeless

Blackpool has lost so many nightclubs and pubs in the last 10 years or so I'm sure most of the people on here will remember places like the tower lounge. Merrie england...flagship...Palace nightclub...Linekers ..jellies..Oz...heaven and hell ...syndicate.. and so many more unfortunately Blackpool is getting worse.fell so sorry for the younger generation now. we had the best years 80s 90s 2000.
