What makes a good burger?

Indeed, what even is a burger?

Is it something trim and tidy? Or is it something super sloppy that can only be posted on Fab?

(And yes, the tiredness is kicking in)

Something where all the components of it can fit in your mouth without having to dislocate your jaw. A good burger bun with sesame seeds, a medium or medium rare burger, cheese, fried onions and a good burger sauce.

Freshly made beef patties, medium rare, some relish, pickle, onions, melted cheese in a nice lightly toasted bun

Standard burger: bottom bun, burger sauce, burger patty, cheese, jalapenos, onions and tomatoes, top bun. Well seasoned. Not too chewy. Juicy. Easy to eat. You need a strong set of buns that won't disintegrate. Add sauce on the side to dip the burger in (optional). Compliment with fat chips or fat sweet potato chips.

Balance makes the perfect burger it’s all got to compliment each other and the stupid tall ones that take a stick to hold them then fall apart are ridiculous.

I love doing 8 mini slider experiments and then the top 3 get made into full size burgers

Amen to that! Honest to god, if you need a stick to hold a burger together then it’s a shit burger! 💪🏻

Just checking!

I prefer smash burgers. I don't like when a burger has too much meat to bun. No lettuce because that tastes like dirt. Lots of cheese and sauces, some onions and tomatoes!

When it comes to these ridiculous tower burgers my technique is to remove the top bun and demolish everything until there is one patty left. Place the bun on top and eat it as a normal burger. I know, I'm a psycho.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t a smash burger thinner but wider? I know I’ll cop some heat for this, but never had one! 🫢

But what you’ve listed there, dammit now I have to try one!

I think the idea is that I cooks quicker so you get a sort of crispier edge and less of that meaty texture. I've never had one either so don't quite me on that 😅

I like a smash burger. Not a fan of massive amounts of sauce and I don’t particularly want a change of clothes after eating it.

Less is more for me: decent melted cheese, bit of lettuce and mustard on a bun that _isnt_ brioche and I am good.

The question my son, is not WHAT makes a good burger but WHO.

WHO makes a good burger despite being time lord and that is pretty comendable that he can fit it in but then ...... as a time lord he could shrink time or nip through a few black holes.

What even is a burger you ask but again the question is not WHAT but HOW ...... how is a burger Contemplate the how of burgery , take care with reading and spelling and post the answer here next millenia.

Ground beef burgers are likely containing parts of thousands of animals (nutritionist)

Over 1,300 unique strands of beef DNA in a single burger (AI)

Most of the cattle not grass fed but given hormone foods. Pretty revolting content.

Totally this. I've had to eat burgers with a knife and fork before as too big to get in my mouth which is just wrong. I like a neatly packed burger, cheese, lettuce, crispy onions or mushrooms and burger sauce . I like Wendys and five guys but used to be a wimpy girl
