Back in Surrey, Dahlings! |
In America (as in the whole continent, from Alaska to Patagonia) it is really far and prohibitively expensive to travel abroad.
Therefore, my first trip abroad didn’t happen until I was well in my 20s- to San Antonio Texas.
But then again, I was born and grew up in one of the 5 most desired and travelled to countries in the world and I know most of it, so I got my fill of domestic but idyllic holidays, from mountains to architecture, to beaches and forests and jungle. 🎀🩷 🇲🇽 |

Yeah, for me travelling overseas was a *much* bigger deal than it would have been had I grown up in the UK. |

In a galaxy far far away |
Skiing in Sauze d'Oulx, Italy.
I was only about 13 at the time and can only remember 2 things.
Getting a cable car and someone in it farted, stank the whole thing out.
Going to watch the pros down ski, but it was cancelled due to too much ice on the course. So myself and my Dad skied down it (not fast, just taking our time) |
