It's been a really long time since I made a big cake for sharing.
I'm feeling ok enough to spend a couple of hours putting one together but I'm not sure which to make.
Maybe a chocolate one, because, everyone likes chocolate.
I will, at some point, endeavour to make a hummingbird cake, with all of its ingredients.
Hopefully, I don't run out of energy by the time I have the time to make a cake. |

If we are talking big sharing cakes, a good victoria sponge is a beautiful thing, I especially love one with lemon curd and cream instead of jam.
I also love a carrot cake with deliciously sweet cream cheese frosting.

I make a fabulous (not my words) rhubarb crumble. Happy to share the recipe.
My daughter has a natural ability when it comes to baking. The lightest sponges and the best chocolate brownies I've ever tasted.
There's definitely a real skill to it. |

Chocolate is a shout. Really squidgy and fudgy and moreish and with Scottish strawberries to cut through the richness.

Traybakes are great for sharing.
I enjoy baking. Chocolate is my favourite but you cant beat a nice Victoria sponge.
